TEAM ORIENTED

Saiful Nang

According to Oxford Advance Learner’s Dictionary (2015), the team refers to a group of people who works together at a particular job while oriented refers to direct somebody or something beside to make or adapt somebody or something for a particular purpose.

Saiful Nang shows his team oriented in leading his team. Saiful Nang is an Executive Chairman and a Founder for Colors of Asia Sdn Bhd Group of Companies. He is a professional photographer who is well-known and has considerable influence among photographers in Malaysia. He was also awarded by Mediacorp as one of Asia's best photographers Asia, and is listed by the Council as 20 of the most creative and successful entrepreneurs in Malaysia. Saiful Nang is B.Sc degree holder (Media) Film & Animation at the Multimedia University in 2000 and later received a Bachelor of Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT), Australia. Next MPA (UK), Master Photographer, Licentiate and is now completing a doctorate in Universiti Utara Malaysia in the field of management.

He started the whole business in 2004 with on RM90 capital and manage to grow it into a group of companies. In 2005 he put his hand together with other 19 companions to start Loving Care Home Residents (Rumah Pengasih Warga Prihatin). It is a research centre about Social Civilization & Moral. However, the subject of the research is human, hence they established an orphanage and underprivileged home to implement what has being taught in the Quran & Sunnah in total.
Saiful Nang shows team oriented in communicating with his employees. He believes “Colors of Asia Sdn Bhd should be like a family” so that they will be more productive. He used to ignore aboutan hour worked but he always pays attention to the output. Saiful Nang builds strong relationships with his team when implementing the best things he can do for them. Besides that Saiful Nang always motivating his employees to feel they have a meaningful impact to the community. As a conclusion, we believe that a leader should be a team oriented to lead  his team to achieve the goal of a company.
