The proactive means entrepreneur must have the right purposes and are able in itself to guarantee success in business. In this case, this is a proactive approach to business conditions involved in market and competition. Most of the many entrepreneurs need to take proactive steps to address problems encountered. Proactive behavior aims at identification and exploitation of opportunities and in taking peremptory action against potential problems and threats. Proactive action is effected by the entrepreneur brings changes to things that happen to him (Coulter, 2000).


Every entrepreneur has a different personality example, style, feelings and behaviour that indicated up to lead to change. In addition, the entrepreneur must have positive minded attitude in everything they do (David McClelland, 1961).

For example, Datuk Seri Dr. Vida is one of among the successful entrepreneur in Malaysia through her cosmetic products. She is the founder of Pamoga & Qu Puteh which is running fast in development for cosmetics and beauty supplements. This entrepreneurial woman who had so resilient spirit and open-minded way to promote her products and businesses. She once, make a sponsor deal with Media Prima Sdn Bhd to sponsor one of their shows, Anugerah Juara Lagu (AJL) while marketing her beauty and cosmetic products.  She invested RM 3Million through that show and she received various views and public allegations from other peoples. After that moment, Datuk Vida’s name and her products became so famous among Malaysian.

This is how Datuk Vida entrepreneur her business with some amount and using one of the most popular show and channel that catch most Malaysian’s eye to watch, she took a chance to promote her products instead sponsoring the show. How the Malaysian react and respond with her product’s tagline “Qu Puteh Barulah Puteh” running wild on social media was a proof that Dato’ Vida had her own and interactive ways to promote her Vida beauty product to the citizen. Until now, her product became one of the well-known products among Malaysians.

With this short ways in promoting products, hand made Vida Beauty more advancing from the other company and has raised the company name Vida Beauty in our society and indirectly made the people attracted to try her cosmetic and beauty supplement products. In addition, strong spirit did not break the spirit of entrepreneurs to succeed in life. The spirit of cup lumps owned by he was onto the entrepreneur spirit in ourselves. From where he learned not to easy to succumb and often positive towards the business world. These entrepreneurs often find opportunities in expanding business in  each market. Produced a warm market response as a result of her proactive in the field of business (Hirsrich and Peter, 2002).

  Her latest venture will take her business into the world of sports, following her high-profile two season sponsorship deal of the Kelantan football team, which will result in not only a name change to include the names of her two biggest selling products; health drink Pamoga and the skin whitening drink Qu Puteh, but see the state’s macho footballers and their home ground in bright Barbie pink.
